Gold cylinder with centre seconds and Leroy patent fold down winding buttons

A fine and very rare French 18 carat gold open faced quarter repeating two train pocket watch with independent centre seconds, ruby cylinder escapement and Leroy patent fold down winding buttons, circa 1820. Matte gilt dial with two trains, standing barrels with fold down buttons for winding, jeweled ruby cylinder escapement, gilt three armed balance with parachute on the upper pivot, flat balance spring, bimetallic temperature compensation curb on the blued steel index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by depressing the pendant. Gold hinged cuvette with apertures for the winding and handsetting buttons. Silver engine turned dial with black painted Roman numerals, outer minute and seconds track and blued steel Breguet hands. Engine turned case, bolt at 1 to lock the repeating and at 6 for start/stop of the centre seconds. Cuvette signed.
