Gold pocket watch with two rows of pearls

An attractive gold and enamel verge pocket watch with two rows of pearls made in Switzerland, circa 1800. The open faced case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold, has a coin edge, two row trimmings set with oriental pearls on both sides and engine turned decoration with fine enamel inlays on the back. The engine turned dial with white enamel cartouches has black Roman hour numerals and steel filigree Breguet hands. The movement has a verge escapement.
