An English 18K gold key wind open faced pocket watch, London Hallmark for 1872. Gilt 3/4 plate English lever movement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance, diamond end stone.
White enamel dial, black Roman numerals, black outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 and gilt fleur-de-lys hands. 18 Carat engine turned hinged case, monogram to back.
Dial and movement signed, case stamped ‘AS’. With leather case and key.
