A fine Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel scallop shell form pendant watch with concealed dial, circa 1800. A shell-shaped case, spring loaded front cover reveals the dial, both sides identically decorated with royal blue, black and green enamel, fixed suspension ring. White enamel dial, Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions and gold hands. Hinged, gilt brass full plate movement, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain three arm brass balance, continental cock, polished steel endplate, index regulator.
