A fine, rare and attractive Swiss silver gilt, enamel and pearl set open faced center seconds duplex watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1860. Finely chased and engraved floral decorated gilt finished duplex movement. Chased and engraved scroll, floral and sunburst decorated gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and center seconds. Large case, pearl set bezel, rim, pendant and bow, a polychrome enamel scene depicting three hunters seated on an elephant, attacked by a tiger. Case and cuvette numbered, movement signed.
