Cylinder with anti clockwise running ten minute register by Tiffany, Reed & Co

A large and rare French brass open faced inking chronograph watch with centre seconds and anti clockwise running ten minute register, circa 1860. ½ Plate gilt finished cylinder movement, plain three armed balance, fixed going barrel. White enamel dial with outer Arabic ten seconds divisions, blued steel central inking hand and anti clockwise running subsidiary ten minute register. Large plain case, the inking hand operated by button on the pendant, stop/start lever in the band at three o’clock, return-to-zero for both chronograph seconds and ten minutes register in the band at six o’clock, button in the band at four o’clock to open the hinged front cover, snap on back with cut out for the winding knob. Case numbered, dial signed, movement signed PF Breveté S.G.D.G.
