A fine, rare and early Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased keyless lever watch with perpetual calendar and moon phases, circa 1882. Nickel finished fully jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer railway minute divisions, four subsidiary dials for moon phases and lunar calendar, day, month and constant seconds with red date. Plain case, coin edged rims to the covers, applied initials WG to the back. Case, cuvette, dial and movement signed and numbered.
