A thin and elegant French 18 carat yellow gold minute repeating keyless dress watch, circa 1925. The movement is made by European Watch & Clock Co., Inc. A polished case, coin-edge band, case back with blue enamel inlay monogram. Matte silver dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 29 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs with two polished steel hammers, activated by a slide on the band. Dial signed Cartier, movement signed European Watch & Clock Co., Inc.
