A fine Swiss silver pair-cased lever pocket watch with skeletonized movement made for the Chinese market, circa 1860. Finely decorated, skeletonized, engraved and guilloché movement, lever escapement, blued screws, polished steel parts. Painted enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued Louis XV hands. Decorated double cases, the outer case with engraved bezels, plain band and guilloché back with a central vacant cartouche.
