Unsigned gold, enamel, pearl, and gem set pocket watch

A Swiss gold, enamel, pearl, and gem set open faced cylinder watch, made for the Chinese market, circa 1790. The watch features a gilded full plate movement with applied scrolling foliate decoration, a cylinder escapement, a pierced and engraved balance cock, and a diamond endstone. It has a white enamel dial with Roman numerals, an Arabic outer track, and centre seconds. The gold case has a back with a polychrome enamel scene of an 18th-century lady playing a lyre, a pearl and ruby set bezel, and two colour gold floral decoration on the bands.

The movement is functioning well. The dial is in good condition. The case has some scratches on the enamel but is overall in good condition.
