An English Daniël & Thomas Grignion gold key wind pair cased verge pocket watch with repousse decoration, London circa 1740. Engraved gilt full plate fusee verge movement, pierced, winged and engraved balance cock, silver regulation. Later gilt dial with foliate engraved centre, applied gilt Roman numerals, outer gilt minute dot markers, later blued steel beetle and poker hands. Polished inner case, repousse outer depicting a classical scene with two female figures and a winged cherub. Signed movement. With key.
