An English lever in a gold full hunter case, circa 1909. Gilt three-quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, diamond endstone. Compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. English table roller lever escapement. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, and gilt hands. Plain 18-carat gold full hunter case with fixed back, the movement hinging out. Maker’s mark ‘PW’ in an oval and number corresponding to that on the movement.
