A decorative English double-cased quarter repeating Repoussé pocket watch Minerva, Jupiter und Neptune, circa 1740. The watch comprises two cases. The gold outer case features a repoussé scene of Minerva, Jupiter und Neptune, a pierced edge, and a large lateral hinge. The inner case is also gold and has pierced edges adorned with engraved flowers, birds, and mascarons. It also has a pusher for repetition via a pendant and a rear bell. The enamel dial displays radial Roman hour markers, radial Arabic minute markers, and blued Poker & Beetle hands. The movement is a full plate, keywind mechanism with a fire gilt finish. It bears a signature and showcases applied florally engraved decorations, a chain/fusee system, baluster-shaped movement pillars, two hammers, a three-arm brass balance, and a finely engraved pierced balance cock adorned with a mascaron motif.
