An exquisite gold/enamel Swiss pocket watch of exceptional quality, circa 1790.
Engine turned 18K gold case, quite exceptional and of very fine quality, both sides enamelled. Back with the finest enamel painting, probably Geneva quality, a young girl in front of a white background surrounded by blue tendrils with blossoms and leaves. Face and pendant decorated with paillon enamel. Enamel dial with Arabic radial hours, outer minutes track with fifteen minutes numerals, and exceptional pink gold hands. Gilt verge movement.
