A highly unusual Swiss 18 carat yellow gold keyless pocket watch, made by Haas Neveux & Co. in Geneva, circa 1895. With two independent chronographs, each with a 30-minute counter, 1/5 second chronograph, and activated by the single round push piece located on the winding crown. White enamel dial with black painted suspended Arabic numerals for the hours and small gold painted radial Arabic numerals for the minutes and decorative gold hands.

A rhodium plated movement, going barrel, straight line equilibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished steel index regulator with swanneck spring and micrometric screw, Poinç on de Genève” (Geneva Quality Hallmark or Geneva seal) punched twice; first chronograph work on the top plate; second chronograph work mounted under the dial. The dial, case and movement are signed.

This watch is equipped with two chronograph mechanisms, each working on its own column wheel and therefore having independent functions. Thanks to their respective control buttons, each of them can be activated independently of the other; the two chronographs perform the start/stop/ return to zero functions, and each drives its own 30-minute counter (these are with instantaneous jumps).
