A fine and slim Swiss 18K gold montre à tact pocket watch, circa 1850. The engine-turned back with a large revolving à tact hand, engraved with a flower and scrolls, gold touch pins on the coin-edge band, engine-turned front cover, gold cuvette engraved with technical details, with an aperture allowing the tact hand to be caught by the tact wheel. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and gold Breguet hands. A gilt brass movement, bar calibre with going barrel, jewelled, cylinder escapement, three-arm gilt balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed.
