A gentleman’s elegant and ultra thin pocket watch with cylinder escapement, circa 1850.
Present from King Otto I. to Imperial-Royal postmaster Karl Bauer, Carlsbad August 10th, 1856 – with matching tortoiseshell box and original key.
An 18 Carat gold, lavishly engraved case, silvered dial, engine turned and florally engraved, “Lepine” calibre, bridge movement, three arm brass balance.
