Very fine pocket watch with quarter repeater

A very fine, large lépine watch with old leather case, decentral dial and repeater, made in France, circa 1820. The open faced case of this watch which is crafted from 18 carat gold, is plain and has an engine turned band. The decentral silver dial is engine turned, has Roman hour numerals and gold Breguet hands (hour hand added and not gold). The lépine movement has a cylinder escapement and a quarter repeater.
