Watch with valuable Louis XV Chatelaine

A pocket and pendant watch with unique and very valuable Louis XV Chatelaine with agate cameos, oriental pearls and diamonds, made by Trichaud in Marseille, France, circa 1880. The top quality open faced Louis XV case with side hinge is crafted from 18 Carat gold in à goutte shape and is set with oriental pearls on both sides, including the bracket and has a fine agate cameo on the back. The beautiful Louis XV white enamel dial has blue Arabic minute and Roman hour numerals and red gold hands. The numbered movement has a fine cylinder escapement with wolf’s teeth.
The chatelaine, brooch and case are all hallmarked with French gold hallmarks and the cuvette is signed.
