A french 18 Carat gold open faced key wind quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1820. Gilt full plate pierced and engraved balance bridge, silver regulation.
Dial with black Arabic numerals to white surround set within gilt apertures, blue outer minute track with gilt 5 minute markers, central painted scene depicting a pastoral scene of a woman offering grapes to a farmer and child, blued steel Breguet style hands. Engine turned hinged case, coin edged band. Case stamped H.B.
