A magnificent, multicolour gold French spindle watch with stones, original key and original box, in very rare condition, circa 1825.
18K gold case, made in 3 different gold tones, fantastic case quality, raised relief with leaves and flowers, in-between set with stones, turquoise and garnet, and case mark France 1822-1838. Solid gold dial, decorated with flowers and tendrils in different gold colours, engine-turned in the centre, Roman radial hours, outer minutes track, blued steel hands. Gold-plated spindle movement. Associated by original box, and original key which also has a splendid relief work made of gold, and set with turquoise on both sides.
