Lever movement with column-wheel chronograph. Plain polished 18K gold case. Signed enamel dial with Breguet-style radial hours, outer minutes/seconds track with Arabic five minutes/seconds numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, red pulsometer scale, 30-minute counter, chronograph hand, blued steel pear hands.

LIP, a French clock manufacturer
The French company LIP, based in Besançon, was founded in 1867 by Emmanuel Lipmann (1844-1913). It was originally a simple watchmaker’s workshop set up by Lipmann, who came from Alsace, but the brand name “Lip” was first mentioned in 1896.
