A fine Swiss, 18k yellow and pink gold pocket watch, circa 1790. The reverses with engine-turning centred by an engraving of a dog resting by a flower basket, borders with floral motif repeating on front. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and Arabic five-minute numerals. Silver hands. A hinged, gilt brass full plate movement with rounded pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, plain brass three-arm balance, continental cock with polished steel endplate, and silvered regulation dial. Dial and movement signed.
