A French gold and enamel pendant watch with chatelaine, key, and compass, circa 1895. This pocket watch features a white enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours and quarters. The yellow gold CHÂTELAINE is decorated with a monogram surmounted by a count’s crown against a blue enamel background within cartouches. Four chains suspend two keys, a gold pendant, and a brass compass. The piece bears an eagle head hallmark and an illegible master goldsmith’s mark.
