A fine and elegant Swiss 18K gold and enamel open faced cylinder lady’s pendant watch, circa 1850. Polished bezel, reeded band, the back with a finely painted on enamel Swiss alpine lake view, green guilloché enamel and white enamel scroll border. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. A matte gilt movement, bar calibre, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator.
