Gold half hunting cased center seconds minute repeater

A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold half hunting cased minute repeating pocket watch with independent, jumping and stoppable center seconds, circa 1868. Gilt, frosted bridge movement, polished screws, two hammers, two gongs, gold train, two barrels with seesaw winding and click works on the top, compensation balance, blued balance spring, counterpoised lever, ruby endstone on lever and escape wheel. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, center seconds and blued spade hands. Case with enamelled monogram and engraved lion’s head to the back, slide for repeating mechanism, the front with inlaid blue radial Roman numerals, case maker punch mark AM for A. Meylan. Cuvette signed.
