A 18 carat gold French open faced skeletonised quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1820. Pierced and engraved skeletonised cylinder movement with central pierced and engraved balance-cock with three-arm balance, silvered regulation disc, two polished hammers striking on a gong.
Glazed front with outer gilt chapter ring with painted black Arabic numerals on white backgrounds, blued steel hands. Polished plain hinged case with glazed, signed cuvette, reeded band.
