A very fine, large gold/enamel pocket watch in the style of Gregson, signed Chevalier & Comp. Genèva, circa1800. An 18K gold, back with very fine enamel painting, rim and pendant from both sides also enamelled painted, so-called “Paillonné Enamel” with finest gold inlays, gilt, signed and numbered verge movement, original, signed enamel dial, probably original pink gold hands, overall very beautiful condition, little imperfections around the winding hole, some small repairs at the enamel rim; accompanied by an extraordinary watch box, glazed on the front side, with stand on the back.
