An extravagant, skeletonized French repeater with rare “hanging” cylinder escapement in manner of Breguet, circa 1810. An 18K pink gold, spiral engine turning on back, casemaker’s punch LE, rare French repeater movement, fine construction, “hanging” cylinder escapement with parachute, extravagant hands, repeating hours and quarters, face skeletonized, very nice visible polished steel escape wheel, enamel chapter ring (craquelling), pink gold hands, movement intact.
