A fine German 14 carat pink gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, circa 1900. The polished case with a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, sunk center and pink gold Louis XV hands. Frosted gilt ¾ plate movement with 16 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, gold pallet fork, gold escape wheel, Lange Guillaume type balance with timing screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring and swan neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
