Observation pocket watch for the German Navy

A silver marine observation pocket watch in original wooden box, made GUB Glashütte, Germany, circa 1960. This watch features a numbered silver case and a metal dust cover and its silver coloured dial features an outer minute and hour track with Arabic hour numerals, a seconds dial at 3 o’clock, a 35 hours power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock and blued steel hands with stylised leaf (feuille) or syringe shapes. The numbered movement is equipped with a Lange & Söhne movement construction with a lever escapement, a swan neck and a fine adjustment.
The case, dial, movement and box are signed and the case and movement bear matching numbers.
