Pocket watch with coined band

A silver pocket watch made by Sebastian Mayr in Friedberg (Hessen), Germany, circa 1800. The plain open faced case is crafted from silver and has a coined band and the Augsburg case maker’s signature. The white enamel dial has an outer ring with black Arabic numerals for the minutes and black Roman numerals for the hours and metal hands. The movement has a verge escapement.
The movement is signed.
