Solid gold watch with very rare oval helical hairspring

A solid Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased pocket chronometer watch, circa 1860. Fine bar movement with chain and fusee, three screwed chatons, screwed compensation balance, chronometer escapement, very rare oval helical hairspring.
The white enamel dial features Roman hours and an outer minute track, with a subsidiary seconds indicator at six o’clock, blued steel hands hand, nearly unused engine-turned case. Ribbed band. Gold cuvette signed and numbered Robert Theurer & Fils Chaux de Fonds.
