A heavy Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced quarter repeating verge pocket watch with date, circa 1800. The timepiece features a verge movement that chimes the hours and quarter hours. It has a white enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the quarters. The dial also includes a central date display and elegant blued Breguet hands. The plain case has sound openings and a missing opening spring. The cuvette is signed.
