Impressive, exceptionally large verge watch with a tortoiseshell case, made in Austria, circa 1800. It has a double case made of silver, the outer case is covered with tortoiseshell and the case maker’s mark FRT, an enamel dial in very good condition with gold plated hands and a typical Austrian verge movement with stones, unusual blued gear shaped screws and chased pillars.
