A very fine Swiss, 18K gold, quarter repeating, keyless pocket watch, circa 1880. A polished case, front cover with monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. A frosted gilt movement, 29 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Cuvette signed. Case numbered.
