Pink gold Carillon watch with three hammers

A very rare French 18 Carat pink gold quarter repeating skeletonized pocket watch, circa 1820. Quarter repeating Carillon with three hammers. An Empire, polished case, reeded band. Gilt rimmed glazed cuvette hinged to the movement ring. White enamel dial, annular with Arabic hour numerals and outer minute divisions, glazed center disclosing the repeating work and blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass movement, skeletonized and foliate engraved, fusee and chain, verge escapement with three arm brass balance with flat balance spring, faceted red end stone, silvered regulation dial, repeating on steel gongs with three hammers activated by depressing the pendant. Edge of cuvette signed.
