A Swiss gold hunting cased pocket watch with the coat of arms of the Blessed Pope Pius XI, circa 1850. Gilt lateral lever movement. Signed gold cuvette. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and gold hands. Engine turned case with the Blessed Pope Pius XI coat-of-arms to the cover, finely engraved with scroll and foliate borders, chased and engraved edges and bow, coin edge band. With gold winding key and medal engraved with the coat of arms. Comes with a presentation case.
