An unusual French gold and enamel key-wound watch in the form of a cello with a concealed dial, circa 1810. Gilt brass movement, full plate, fuse and chain, verge escapement, continental cock. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, minute track and winding aperture. Gold, red and black enamel cello-shaped case, button at six o clock to open the back cover. Movement signed.
