A fine and unusual Swiss multicoloured gold and enamel open faced manually wound triple calendar pocket watch with sweep centre seconds, circa 1790. Gilt finished verge movement, chain fusee. White enamel regulator style dial, eccentric hour dial with Roman numerals, three subsidiary dials for the date, day and months with their relevant length, outer seconds indications and central seconds hand. Case with chased bezel and rim, the back centred by a polychrome enamel scene depicting a couple in a landscape, light blue enamel paillon decorated border surrounded by a white enamel ring, with glazed protective outer case. Dial signed, movement signed and numbered.
