A rare Swiss gold, enamel and pearl-set manually wound centre seconds pendant watch with virgule escapement and matching chatelaine, circa 1800. Gilt-brass movement, standing free barrel, virgule escapement, index regulator. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with Roman numerals. Directoire style case, half pearl-set and green enamel bezels, to the back a polychrome enamel portrait of a lady, surrounded by a royal blue enamel ring, matching chatelaine with a central large panel of polychrome enamel depicting a courting couple, enamelled seal and key.
