A Swiss gold and enamel quarter repeating open faced pocket watch, circa 1790. Gilt full plate verge movement with fusee chain, repeating on bell, pierced and engraved balance bridge. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals. Case back with polychrome champlevé enamel butterfly to the centre on a guilloché background surounded by floral decoration on black enamel, blue, black and white champlevé enamel geometric pattern to the band. Dial and movement signed. With a winding key.
