A rare Swiss gold, enamel, and pearl set open faced keywind pendant watch, circa 1850. This watch features a 12½ ligne movement with a cylinder escapement and a plain balance. The white enamel dial, signed Vacheron et Constantin, Genève, has Roman numerals, an outer minute track, and Breguet hands. The case is made of 18 carat gold, with the cuvette signed and numbered 50,133. The reverse side is beautifully decorated in polychrome enamel, centred by a floral spray and inset with split pearls. The movement, dial, and case are all signed.
