A very fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold and enamel pocket watch, circa 1800. A polished case, hinged gold cuvette. The back with finely painted on enamel scene depicting a lady in a wheat field. White enamel dial with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute markers and blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass, full plate movement with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental clock, polished steel end piece Movement signed.
