A rare Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1912. Retailed by Gondolo & Labouriau, Relojoeiros, Rio de Janeiro. The manual wind jewelled nickel lever movement with a bimetallic cut compensation balance. White enamel dial with black Arabic hours, an outer minute track, red Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and spade hands. The polished case with a guilloché back, plain bezel, pendant and bow, and a hinged cuvette engraved with floral motifs. Case, dial, cuvette and movement signed. Comes with an Extract from the Archives confirming sale on August 25th, 1913.
