A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating keyless pocket watch made for the North American market by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1912. Retailed by Tilden-Thurber Co in Providence, Rhode Island, U.S.A. An ultra thin manual wound movement with a nickel lever escapement and 29 jewels. White enamel dial with black Breguet hours, an outer minute track, outermost red Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gold Louis XV hands. The polished and brushed case with a hinged cuvette and slide to activate the minute repeater at 3. Case, dial and movement signed. Comes with an Extract from the Archives confirming its sale on September 30th, 1913.
