A Swiss gilt metal, enamel and pearl set centre seconds pocket watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1860. Jewelled gilt lever movement, finely chased and engraved with foliate scrolls. Glazed cuvette. White enamel dial, Roman numerals and outer minute divisions. Case back with polychrome enamel depicting summer flowers, both bezels and bow highlighted with split pearls.
