Early full hunter cased quarter repeater

An early gold full hunter case repeater with seconde morte, attributed to Louis Audemars in Le Crêt Meylan, near le Brassus in Switzerland, circa 1860. This numbered full hunter cased watch, which was crafted from 18 carat gold, features a coined band, is engine turned and the case band has a slide for the stoppable independent seconds and the repeater. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, independent seconds and Breguet steel hands. The numbered exquisite movement features an early lever escapement, two barrels, an hour and quarter repeater, solid gold wheels and a ring shaped lever.
The cuvette is numbered and signed.
