Gold half-hunter cylinder pendant watch

A fine Swiss 18K gold half-hunting cased lady’s pendant watch, circa 1860. Retailed by Hyde & Goodrich, New Orleans, USA. Entirely foliate engraved case, the front cover with glazed aperture and blue enamel radial Roman numerals, the small central inscription G.P. Fowler from her Husband, Dec 25, 1861, on the back. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned border. White enamel dial with narrow radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and blued steel spade hands. A matte gilt movement, bar calibre, cylinder escapement, three-arm flat-rim balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed.
