A fine French, 18K yellow gold, square Montre Carrée, keyless dress pocket watch by Cartier Paris, circa 1925. Square watch with rounded corners, polished, the back secured by four screws, triangular bow. Matte silver dial with radial Roman numerals, inner minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed.
